no, as long as u take it in moderation is ok…just make sure it doesn’t have ASPARTAME, which is an artificial sweetener and is considered toxic to the body. read the nutrition facts and ingredients.

The point is to get something in your body that will be digested and will help refuel your body quickly. A regular meal doesn’t do that. You can eat whatever you want after the workout, but for gains you want something like whey that will break down and get into your system faster. If you’re going to have a regular meal, you can eat that whenever as it won’t help you with what’s needed post-workout.
